Bill: Recreational Drugs Act 4118
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Socialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4119
Description[?]:
It should not be for the government to say what the adults of Aloria may do in their own time to relax or have fun. The reality surrounding drugs is that they will always be there. Do you want to force the citizens of Aloria to have to deal with an underground black market of dealers and pushers? Should the manufacturing of these products be done entirely for large scale profit at the expense of exploiting the vulnerable around the world? The government has a responsibility to its citizens in this modern age and it's time to do away with laws of conservatism from yesteryear. Vote Yes for a governmentally funded recreational drugs supply system that is taxed, regulated and most of all safe for the citizens of Aloria. Llyr Davies President Libertarian Socialist Party |

Old value:: Sales of recreational drugs within the nation are prohibited by the law.

Message | Mr Speaker I don't know how Davies can call it safe. Drugs harm the body, and it will lead to more people taking drugs. The consequence of this is a higher healthcare bill for the government to deal with. Harri Powell, President |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
