Bill: Act of Democratic Re-organisation - 4120

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sosialmonarkisterne

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4121

Description[?]:

The Act of Democratic Preservation, is an act to re-organise Kazulmark's monarchy. The Act consists of two simple articles.

Article 1;
With the sudden rise of parties in our great Nation, the current amount of seats does no longer suffice for representation of each party. Therefore we wish to allow a single increase to the legislation, adding more seats to Stortinget.

Article 2;
Currently, an election is held every 72 months, which translates to every sixth year. This creates an unfair representation of what the people wish for our nation. We wish to cut this time in half, making it 36 months, 3 years, between each election, to accurately represent the people of this nation.

We hope to see agreement with the rest of the parties for this proposal.
For Democracy! For Freedom! For Kazulmark!

Gustav Arntoft,
Chairman of Liberal-Demokratiske Parti.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We hoped that the LDP would first have held a debate on this subject in search for some support. We would have voted in favor of this bill of the elections where held every 4years. We think 3 years is too short, since we have a multiple parties and so many opinions that sometimes legislation will go slow.

We'll vote NO. Yet we hope to make a counter legislation with 48month term.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Whilst we had wished to wait before the vote for this bill was established. Our administration accidentally decided to push it through to vote. Therefore, I offer you a sincere apology for the mistakes of our current administration.

    Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position.

    Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
