Bill: Great Luthori/Great Luthoria

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Workers Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4122

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,
This bill If passed with a two thirds majority. Would do a number of things.

To start with it would rename our nation to either Great Luthori or Great Luthoria which ever the other parties like best. And it would begin to modernize this nation and move us forward from the past.

OOC: My party would also be interested in discussing possibly creating a republic. Instead of a constitutional monarchy. If we decided to do this I would propose that our parliament be called "The Federal Diet". But as I don't have seats I guess I don't really get a choice do I :-)

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
