Message | Esteemed Assembly Members, The Nationalist Party have shown their true colours this evening. Not only have the decided to lose the little moral conscience that they possessed but they betrayed the people of this nation, on the principles they were elected. I beg of anyone with a moral compass and any remains of sanity, vote no on this travesty of justice. Teresa Mercie AM Prime Minister (FN Leader) |

Message | Let's go through this bill. The legalisation of euthanasia - in other words, the Parti Nationaliste believes that it should encourage doctors to kill their patients. Allowing incest - which causes horrendous disfigurements in children and led to the creation of diseases like haemophilia. Recognition of prostitution - which Forced union membership - which will massively increase unemployment as people who do not want to be ordered about the new, strengthened unions will have to either emigrate or won't be able to feed their family properly. Allowing adultery - an act responsible for having the male suicide rate almost always nearly double, triple or even quadruple that of females. All-term-long abortions - meaning a biologically fully-human being who feels pain, can breath, has eyes, a brain, a heart and all of its other internal organs can be ripped out of its mother's whom on grounds as flippant as its gender. This is the most obscene, disgusting bill I've ever seen presented to this chamber and I am 110% against it. We encourage every single person in this chamber no matter what party they belong to or which wing they put themselves on to vote no to this trash-heap of a manifesto. Philomène Nicollier Deputy Leader of Parti de l'Impératrice Noire Assembly Member from Meroix |
Date | 12:55:01, November 20, 2016 CET | From | Parti Libéral | To | Debating the PN Manifesto |
Message | We disagree with Article 1, 5, 6 and 7 (to a lesser extent 7), for similar reasons that PIN has outlined. We do believe in the recognition of prostitution, allowing adultery and all other articles except 1, 5, 6, and 7. If the bill was revised and re-suggested in accordance with our suggestions we would vote yes. We believe this can be broken down into several smaller bills to encourage them to pass. Dany Leclère Leader of le Parti Libéral Minister for Justice Member of the National Assembly |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
