Bill: The Rights of Theaters and Schools
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kazulmark Libertære Parti
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4124
Description[?]:
We believe that the federal government has no authority on what rules are set in movie theaters or schools, including private schools. We also believe that a national curriculum can not benefit everyone, and want to leave it up to Fylkes to determine what is important for their region, not the federal government. Parents have the right to send their children to any school they choose, public or private. |

Message | Herr Huspresident, We cannot agree on Article 2 and 3 for we believe that they contradict the purpose of many government agencies. If funding of private schools is left to local government it means that there is a possibility of said private school gaining government funds. Sooner or later it will to pass that this will exceed the amount of funds going to government schools which cater for of students of similar educational background. This will subsequently grow into a much larger problem (i.e. the entrenchment of social statuses and resources). In order to understand the impact of the National Curriculum, one must understand its importance to strengthening education and formalizing a strategic plan in which the Ministry of Education and Culture can tackle learning problem and asses them. There needs to be an agreement for the essential knowledge which a Kazulian student must learn/obtain in order to be ready to fully participate in society. That is why the current national curriculum is assessed by the Ministry of Education and Culture in order to find how can we make learning essential and easier for the student, but also keep high standards. It cannot be that schools in Dreton have to assess their students on their religious skills whilst in Agatha schools have to assess their students on learning trades. It makes no sense because it will contradict the exams and evaluations conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture (which are used to improve the quality of education). We need to be on the same level and with a national curriculum, which all schools are obliged to follow we can achieve that. Johanne Kristiansen Minister of Education and Culture |
