If a man wants to buy a gun off you and tells you he wants to murder someone, or you know he's on a wanted list, but you still sell him a gun, then you are partly responsible for what he does with it.
However, if you the seller do not know anything about the person, and the buyer goes on to use the gun to murder, then you are not responsible.
