MessageThe reason is that our government does not offer the ideals that new parties have to offer.

MessageYes. It has been around 3 years and little legislation has been passed, and only recently has major legislation been offered.

MessageLittle legislation? Come on... You can do better than this. We have already achieved more than 5 years of Laura Carter. We have put much efforts in establishing trade agreements with our neighbouring countries, but the fascist/millitairy wing of our parties is turning everything down. Take that in consider when you complain about our achievements next time.

MessagePerhaps you're right. Regardless, why would it be bad to call early elections so that the senate can be reshuffled due to the changing political landscape?

MessageThe political landscape did not change at all since last elections.

MessageYou are right and wrong.

Let's see. One party is now defunct and another party has emerged. The opinions on issues such as governmental responsibilities have changed, and importance of various issues has changed.

But yes, the typical left-right fighting in the senate continues. Also, the RMP and FDP continue to have a major grip on policy decisions.

MessageAs always we have no confidence in this government, but with the amount of legislation currently on the floor for vote and an election not too far away, we elect to abstain.

MessageThe SUN raises an interesting point I failed to think of. Many proposals will be decided before the election and if we do hold elections now, they will all be reverted to the debate stage.

In light of this, the NLP will thus abstain.
