Bill: Corporation Tax Lowerment 4125

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fortschrittsvereinigung

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4125

Description[?]:

Following our spending and tax cuts, we have been left with a very healthy surplus which even we did not quite anticipate. To continue in these footsteps, we propose lowering corporation tax from 17% to 15%, to make our nation more competitive all across Terra, plus we calculate we will still have more than a healthy surplus available to us!

MessageMr Speaker,

At the time your proposed it, our economy wasn't viable to do so at the time, following a much healthier surplus we can now comfortably afford to lower corporation tax.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
