| The National Libertarian Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Solentia. This would allow us to not only increase the defense budget, but it would also allow us to restore financial solvency to Solentia. It's a win-win in my opinion. |

| Message | OOC: Could I suggest a more "extreme" method? The construction will take 3 years and the total cost will be 8.5 billion (not 10!). so, you are not obligated to pay it all at once (and even in reality you never pay all at once). You could split the cost over the three years until the delivery. In this case: you can increase the budget of defense of only 2.9 billion and maintain this budget for three years; then after three years you can decrease again the budget of defense to the previous level (or maintaining a little increase of 100/200 milion just for the maintenance expenses of the Aircraft Carrier). And won't be necessary make similar gargantuan cut! What do you think? It's a method realistic and which could satisfy all the parties. Win-win! :) |
