Bill: Military Buildup
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4126
Description[?]:
We must substantially increase the readiness of our armed forces. I. Open homosexuality could dishearten the religious soldiers in our armed forces. It could also put off others for their own reasons. Open homosexuality should not be allowed. II. In these troubling times, we must resort to the construction of nuclear weapons. We can no longer be caught off guard if another nuclear state attacks us. III. Land mines are strategically important, especially for defensive warfare. However, we can't get carried away with them. This works for the time being. Should war come to us, we can revisit this. IV. It's a scientific fact that women are not as proficient in combat as men. This isn't a sexist position, it's a fact. We can't deny women the right to patriotically serve in our armed forces, but they should not be subjected to the harsh realities of life at the front. |

Message | Times are tense. Saridan and our close ally Istalia have been at odds, with Sardian expelling the diplomats of Istalia. Also, some NGOs from Istalia were killed while in Sardian. I would invite the Unionists to read the following from the government of Istalia- http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=493322 |
