Message | You mean defence increase will be 3 BILLION per year? How is the NLP going to finance this? It is unfair to steal more money from other ministeries. |

Message | "The true measure of the NLP is made clear- the Istalians say jump and the Libertarians ask how high. Without their own fiscal strategy, they would have us pawns of another nation, editing our governmental budget only to please a pro-Istalian agenda. They are an absolute disgrace." Patch Killmillion, Shadow Foreign Secretary |

Message | Yes, I meant 3 billion a year. I apologize for the confusion. The Unionists, who continue to use titles of nobility like its the Medieval Age called the NLP a disgrace. Of course, the NLP won the two most recent elections by a moderate margin. Obviously they have gained traction in other places. The Unionists have supported socialist legislation and cheer lead Democratic Worker's Councils. They are the enemies of the private sector and must be stopped. If the Unionists have the solution to fiscal issues surrounding Solentia, why don't they propose their own budget proposal and tax plan? |

Message | While we support increasing military spending, we believe it would be unfair to steal so much from so few divisions of the government. Perhaps take a little form other ministries to put into military spending? |

Message | I have proposed similar legislation, with small cuts from every ministry, but they don't pass. |

Message | Head of government a.k.a. ministery of General Affairs 50% cut? That is insane! |

Message | "For a long-winded answer, that rely was rather devoid of substance. The Unionists support the Social Incentive, which is not "medieval" but existed in our modern democracy for a thousand years if he knew his Solentian history, but that is not relevant to this discussion. The fact is, this call for a boost to military spending is an Istalian one, not one crafted from central government. The NLP is simply dancing to a foreigner's tune without even realising how much of a puppet regime they really are. The Unionists shall propose an alternative budget before the next election, and shall introduce a working budget should we win that election. Fear not, we'll give him some lessons in good governance." Ruthander Baxillion, Unionist Leader |

Message | Nobility is an immoral concept, and those that cannot see this are blind. The idea that someone should be granted special privileges because of "divine right" or wealth goes against the ideals of liberty and freedom. When the NLP was founded, one of our platforms was "Peace through Strength." When the Istalians proposed their ideas to the NLP, it fell right in line with our own beliefs and thus we finally got around to proposing a budget with increased military spending. The Unionists would call us foreign puppets, even though increased military spending was part of the platform long before Istalia first made their proposal. The Unionists will not the next election, I can guarantee this. The Unionists have awoken from their slumber to a different Solentia that will reject their flawed ideals. |
