Message | To exempt ourselves from the laws of war only invites others to violate them when fighting us. If we abuse our captives, our prisoners will in turn receive abuse. If we leave chemical and biological weapons on the table, then not only are we countenancing extreme brutality towards civilians as a method of first resort, but we are inviting our foes to do the exact same. I don't want our captives tortured, I don't want to see gas attacks and bio-engineered viruses turned on our civilians and troops, and I have been given authority to speak with the voice of the Trigunskie Federalisti on this matter. We reject this bill and the dangerous powers which it unleashes. General (Ret.) Yegor Morozov Deputy for Defense, Trigunskie Federalisti |
