Bill: Gambling Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: SLP-Libertarian Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4128
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker Current Policy allows only for small scale gambling, like that at a home for instance. We feel that large gambling institutions can be beneficial with licence regulations. We need reasonable regulation to insure that scams are not being set up, but allowing for the operation of casinos can help boost tourism in certain regions and is a practice we feel that there is nothing wrong with. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Only small-scale gambling is allowed, involving limited amounts of money; casinos are illegal.
Current: Gambling is illegal unless taking place in a licensed casino.
