Bill: A Cultural Society for all Beluzians
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4128
Description[?]:
This bill hereby repeals the Culture Neutral Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=491736) proposed by the Conservative Coalition of Beluzia and brings back tourism and culture to our nation. Our reasoning for each article: 1) The arts sector has been on a significant decline ever since the government stopped subsidising arts and many Beluzian artists left the country in search for other jobs elsewhere 2) Alt-right movements have vandalised historic churches in Beluzia (like the Muslim mosque) with racist comments and comments praising Satanists, leading to a drop in tourism (1,500,000 in 4120 to 200,000 now) 3) Library sizes and the topics covered in books are limited (leading to a drop in library attendance from 25,500,000 in 4120 to 950,000 now) 4) Museums have been in a state of disarray (significant exhibits destroyed, walls crumbling, looting, vandalisation), leading to several significant museums (including a museum over a 1000 years old) closing down |
