Message | Mr. Speaker, No vision and lack of alternative is presented in this proposal. In order to fulfill provisions presented by this bill we would have to seure funds to provide benefits for every family in our country and we would have to do that by increased taxation, meaning lowering the real income of the families in our country. Instead of doing so we offer the people of Dorvik the alternative of distributing their money on their own and not being dependent on the governmental provision. Let people work and let them have their money. The second proposal... it's just pure violation of people freedom of choice. Many private Pension Funds offer better conditions for the individuals than those offered by the state one, why should we impose a ban for the people to make their choices? Why does the WLS assume that people don't know what is best for them? Maybe because they represent the thievish, rotten values of communism? Aaron Posse |

Message | Mr Speaker, I think Mr Posse of the DSU has summed up our thoughts. Guaranteeing child benefits to all families is wasteful and a silly idea; millionaires would be included in this, we would be giving benefits to millionaires! Plus if a family is struggling financially to bring up a child, that would put them under the category of low income and they would receive the benefits. As for the second proposal, we again wholeheartedly agree with Mr Posse's words that it is a "pure violation of people's freedom of choice", authoritarianism is not welcome in Dorvik!
