Message | "Well, this is precisely what happens when the neo-liberal parties have the reigns of power. Just look at the extent of these cuts to absolutely critical services! Singeing cuts to Health and Social Services, to Infrastructure and Transport, to Education and Culture. All gutted. This is an agenda that will rob our children of their futures - it will condemn an entire generation to worsening educational and health outcomes. All so we can cut taxes for companies who already enjoy startlingly low corporate tax rates. Myopic policy of this nature is precisely why the Sozialistische Zukunftspartei is reaching out across Dorvik, to ordinarty Dorvisch people and saying - we can do better. Together we can succeed. But with this rabble of hard right-wing parties in control all you'll see is austerity in lieu of prosperity." Herman Gladki Leader, Sozialistische Zukunftspartei |

Message | Mr Speaker, We would under any normal circumstances back the budget of the government we are supporting, however the proposals in its current state cut too deep and too fast, a gradual cutting of the budgets allow for each department to make plans on how they can cope without the extra funding and where they can make efficieny savings. Message | Mr Speaker, Although we are glad the DSU want to cut taxes and make the state more efficient, we sadly think these cuts are somewhat a bridge too far, we share the position of our partners in the Radical Party. We are open to negotiations with a less harsh budget cut. Berend Feuerstein, Progress Party Leader |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
