Whereas the ability to provide energy requires that only one provider, if private, is possible and therefore constitutes a government sanctioned monopoly. Whereas a lack of regulation on energy providers can be very detrimental to the environment. Whereas foreign investment in companies can often lead to foreign domination of economies. Resolved, the government of Rildanor hereby nationalizes power providers to provide cheap energy to the people and avoid the pitfalls of deregulation. Resolved, the government of Rildanor hereby requires all foreign investments to be sanctioned by a federal bureau which will ensure that no foreign nation rests control of the national economy from its citizens. |
