Message | Monsieur le President, The Nouveau Centre is interested in economic reform, and we agree on most of these provisions, but we wonder why 1Republique did not set aside time for a vote. Furthermore, and more egregiously, their increase of the sales tax on essential goods is outrageous and hurts the poorest in our society. We will abstain on this measure and hope the other parties consider our own Economic Reform Package. I yield. Aurelien Chatal Prime Minister |
