Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4133

Description[?]:

We believe the government has no place in running radio and television services, propped up by the taxpayer. It is utterly unnecessary and its privatization would be an easy way to cut spending whilst not harshly impacting our citizens.

MessageMr Speaker,

We see the DSU has voted against this bill. They are in favour of more privatization in key industries, yet something that is more efficient run privately as the media is what the DSU considers a step too far? How utterly ludicrous, the DSU seems to have their priorities in a very, very strange place currently.
