MessageIf someone is unemployed they are unemployed - the reason people won't abuse the system is that the subsistence is so low. I don't understand the logic of the BMP, you allow the government to supply free education and electricity and phonelines - but you neglect the most basic of all necessities - that of keeping someone alive. Where the job is not done by someone else - the government surely has the responsibility of keeping people alive.

MessageWe want people to better themselves. This means that we support measures that allow (if not force) people to become more productive members of society. We do nothing for them if we just give them money without any incentive to increase their lot in life.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
