| We believe that the council has a better expterise in determining the needs of the region for a mayor. They are more independant and not influenced by mayoral campaigns compared to the people self. They can be influenced by expensive campaigns, and have less of an oversight what is needed in the region. Being a mayor is more then just swaying the public opinion to your side, where appearance and impression are more important then the real job needs. |
