Message | You are joking right? What kind of crap is this? State schools have consistantly had the worst results in examinations, they als have the highest rates of truancy, drug sales, rapes and murders, why on earth would you want your child to mix with these other 'stories'? |

Message | We enthusiastically approve this bills! We cannot afford to let the future of our children and our nation in the hands of some hawaiian degree teacher.... |

Message | You know that Private schools ALWAYS outperform their state rivals? Why woul you support a lowering in educational attainment? |
Date | 16:56:57, February 04, 2006 CET | From | KSP - Kazulia Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | State schools are not the bad in the world, if they are adequately financed. Private schools are not so equals: since they are financed by students' parents, it's normal that the professors are not so hard with their "pupils". |
Date | 17:01:11, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | "pupils", wtf? what are they if not pupils? ooc: check the educational performance of schools in your own country, by remoing all private schools you will damage the education of many and lead to a brain drain as the clever students go to private schools abroad. |
Date | 17:37:12, February 04, 2006 CET | From | KSP - Kazulia Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | OOC: actually all the best Italian minds are from public universities and private school is a very less minority of the entire system. |
Date | 17:40:26, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | Furthermore, why not allow some private schools, it reeks of fascism to repress all private schools in Kazulia, especially as they have produced most of our famous ancestors. Of course the SL and NL wouldn't know that, seeing as you are immigrants, unfit to live in our land of the white snow. ooc: i doubt that. |
Date | 17:48:56, February 04, 2006 CET | From | KSP - Kazulia Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | OOC: Marconi (Italian academy), Fermi (Normale), Rubbia (Sapienza), Montalcini (Turin university) are all nobel prizes from public schools. |
Date | 17:50:01, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | ooc: realy, and there are none from private schools? |
Date | 17:54:13, February 04, 2006 CET | From | KSP - Kazulia Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | OOC: No. We have a good public school system. As all the European countries. |
Date | 18:07:28, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | ooc: But is it better than private, and I doubt it is. I can't speak for the continent, but state schools rarely out perform private schools, and after all, Britain was far more powerful and richer than Italy |
Date | 19:24:00, February 04, 2006 CET | From | KSP - Kazulia Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | OOC: a little more richer (€ 25650 UK - € 23490 IT per capita), but a bit less equal (36.8 UK - 36 IT Gini index). About private school, I think that they tends to mantain a "wonderland" environment for students, but the world is more different. |
Date | 20:06:39, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | so? you know, perhaps six year olds don't need to learn about th "real world" as such, does a six year old need to mix with drug addicts? no, school is about education, we all want the best education for our childre, private schools are better than state schools, so we shouldn't ban them, thats insane. |
Date | 22:12:20, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Black Magic | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | Even if private schools produced worse grades, citizens should be free to educate themselves and their children as they see fit. Periodic standardized testing would permit comparison and public or private schools could be forced to elect a new board if their schools fell too far below the median. |
Date | 01:04:23, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Northern Light | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | Yeah...standardization test would be useful..but just banning insufficient schools is just as useful. |
Date | 07:04:09, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Black Magic | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | I agree - if the public schools cannot keep up similar grades to private they might have to be banned. |
Date | 17:30:42, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | But NL, Kazulian private schools are better than state schools, so why not ban the state schools? |
Date | 20:03:02, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Northern Light | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | Kazulian private schools are better than state schools? That's totally insane. I personally interrogated some random student of private schools, and they were dumb as bricks. We can surely do a better work. |
Date | 10:41:42, February 06, 2006 CET | From | Konservativ Monarkistpartiet | To | Debating the Public school, 2180 |
Message | We point to the leaders of the NL and SL. They went to state school and look how stupid they are. Plus they appear to like fascism, so there must be something wrong with state schools. |
