| Greetings, fellow comrades of this honourable House! Recently our estimated researchers inquired the population about an issue of significant importante: our organ donations policy. Giving all of the possible options implemented around Terra, our citizens' gave their votes and the result was scary and urgent. Our current law was the least voted option. Yes, friends, you read that right: our current law regarding organ donations is the least ideal option according to our people. Why are we here after all if not to reinforce democracy and the will of the people? I know the means to get there are the things that differentiate us, but I think it's safe to assume there's no party in this House willing to go against the people that elected them. Our party encommended an study to understand the motives and make sure this resistance is not just based in general lack of information of something like that. It is not. Most of the Beluzian's proud members feel our current law is an possible invasion. Even though donation is not compulsory (which would be an better option than we currently have, according to most of the same people), the way we currently handle this matter is confusing, abstract and disrespectful. Not asking consent and just assuming it's an positive one unless stated otherwise is such an act of insensitivity. Sometimes the family is grieving and before they know it, their loved one's organs were already harvested before they could say anyhting.
