Message | Although we agree with ending subsidies, we don't see why people shouldn't be free to attempt to create a DWC run corporation. |
Date | 21:06:44, February 04, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | Agree with this. Management / owners run businesses not the workers they employ! Now if the workers want to buy the company that is a different matter as then they are the owners, but you have no right to tell your employers how to run their business just because you work for their company! |
Date | 06:38:08, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Democratic-Republican Party | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | We see no reason why the ownership shouldn't be allowed, as part of their freedom, to allow the workers to vote. |
Date | 18:40:52, February 05, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | WE have no problem with the workers buying a company. We have massive problems with DWC's as what then happens is the workers decide how the management and owners should run the company, by what right? That is the equivalent of the steering in your car deciding where you are going! |
Date | 04:06:08, February 06, 2006 CET | From | Democratic-Republican Party | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | Perhaps, but what if someone WANTS the steering to decide where they go? |
Date | 20:32:48, February 06, 2006 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | Then they obviously dont want to go anywhere! |
Date | 03:33:48, February 07, 2006 CET | From | Northern Lights | To | Debating the Removal of DWCs |
Message | Though we support ending the subsidies, we disagree banning DWC's. People (and companies) should be free to be plain stupid. |

Random quote: "The European Union and environmental advocacy groups use global warming hysteria to advance their own special agendas. The European Union recognizes any significant reduction in CO2 emissions by the United States will significantly reduce its economic output, thereby bringing it closer to the inferior output of European nations. Environmental advocacy groups work to stifle economic and industrial progress wherever they find it to inhibit the successful advancement of peoples in developing nations, inevitably making mankind a second class citizen of planet Earth." - Dr. Jay Lehr |
