Bill: Debate over Security Seat C

Details

Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4135

Description[?]:

Is it time to Change Security Seat C Vote?

Baltusia has been placed on a human rights "blacklist" by a organisation, which is strongly linked to the Labour Party in neighbouring Kalistan.

For many years we have fostered good relations with our neighbours, signing treaties of friendship and cultural exchange so this decision seems an odd one to me.

I therefore ask Congress to decide whether we should still be backing a nation that, by proxy, slurs our reputation on the national stage? Should we look at changing our Security Seat Nomination for Seat C?

I ask Congress to decide.

"The Human Rights Foundation has absolutely no link whatsoever to the government of Kalistan. We would be severely disappointed to see one of closest regional allies lose our support over a miscommunication. There is no proxy involved, the HRF is entirely separate from the Labour Party.

Regards,

Jean-Baptiste Fabian"

MessageMembers of Congress,

If the Foreign Minister of Kalistan is stating on the record there is no link between the HRF and the Kalistani Labour Party then there is no reason not to believe him.
