The following treaty is for the purpose of strengthening relations between Sekowo and Cildania. Article I- Free Trade There shall be free and unhindered trade between the nations of Sekowo and Cildania. The governments of neither nation shall attempt to establish tariffs, quotas, or taxes on any imports or exports that flow between them. This article covers all economic activity, including goods, services, and labour. This article also covers any and all financial instruments, including monetary purchases, purchases of bonds and stocks and foreign direct investment. Article II- Cultural Enhancement Sekowo and Cildania agree to host a cultural exposition, on a revolving basis, once every five years. The exposition will include arts (performing and visual), sporting events and technology fairs, and will include exhibitions from each signatory state. During this period, any controls on travel between all signatory states will be suspended and citizens may travel freely between states party to the exposition. National governments will also seek to reduce economic barriers to travel by subsidising air and sea travel. Article III- Ambassadors There shall be a regular exchange of ambassadors and staff between Sekowo and Cildania. Embassies will be established according to respective host country laws and provisions, in addition to regional Consulates in each district/prefecture. Article IV- Intelligence Sharing On the basis that signatory nations have a commitment to the each other and, therefore, a direct interest in the future survival of each other, Sekowo and Cildania agree to share military intelligence with each other, where it is deemed beneficial to either party. Article V- Research and Development Signatory nations agree that the common aims of science, in bettering the experience of mankind, are beneficial to all human beings and to this end, agree to cooperate wherever possible in research and development. This shall include exchanging collected data, sharing facilities and collaborating on major projects. Article VI- Other Nations The inclusion of Sekowo and Cildania shall not be construed to exclude any other nation. If other nations decide to sign the treaty, they include themselves as full members of the affinity community established by the terms of this treaty and bind themselves to its provisions and stipulations. However, if either of the named nations i.e. Cildania and Sekowo abrogate this treaty then it shall be cancelled, regardless of any other nations who have signed on. |
