Message | Members of Congress, How much is it going to cost the country to nationalise these industries? Given that the finance minister is also cutting Baltusia's trade and industry budget (see budget proposal bill) I suggest the coalition government parties are pulling in different directions and will soon tear this country apart if they are not careful. Message | Members of Congress, Mr. Casper Blowhart, The government is gonna nationalise these industries with the surplus that has accumulated for many years now, as no other government has ever used this money. This surplus, of 15bn BLD per year, allowed the state to accumulate a very significant quantity of money, which hasn't been moved in years. With this money, we've allowed ourselves to boost the economy, with a Finance plan that involves Lowering the Taxes for the lowest brackets, so the power of purchase could increase. The Nationalization Act, allows the government to determine the prices of some Vital Industries. Doing so we will help Industries to grow, revitalizing the market. How? For example, changing our current legislation on our Energy Industry, we will end the current For Profit regime, setting the prices on a reasonable rate. If you have any more doubts, please ask. Message | Thank you for the update Mr Madris, I will watch this with much interest and hope it can have the effect of stimulating our economy. I have two points/observations: I assume this is the same surplus that the Progressive Party leader repeatedly told Congress that we shouldn't be spending whenever we proposed budget changes in Government? I see there is a change of tune when it comes to renationalising our country. Secondly, I also see that the plans to lower taxes has stalled - does the minister or his colleagues have any update on what is happening in regards to the lowering of taxes - or has that now been shelved? Casper Blowhart. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
