Bill: Ooc - Military and Economic Power Ratings

Details

Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4135

Description[?]:

OOC - A player vote on whether we will abide by the economic and military rankings suggested by the mods. Link here:

Basically we have a weak economy and an average military under these rankings. Accepting them means we should adhere to them when role playing domestically and internationally. I personally think they are a good idea and the Progressive Party referred to them in a recent debate on the budget.

Please vote yes to accept them and no to reject them. This is a player vote rather than seats vote. Thanks.

MessageAnd just to be absolutely clear, we need a 2/3rds majority of ALL players with seats to pass this RP law - so 4 of the 6 currently with seats to pass. Thanks again everyone.

MessageHey guys,

I just want to say it's fantastic to see you're taking an interest in the consultation :). It's still going on, so do feel free to participate.

I just want to clarify though that this is not going to be at all compulsory; the economic and military role-play guidelines are only going to be advisory. So in other words, even if this bill was to pass with most of you voting for it, there would be no obligations involved.

Also, on the subject of RP laws, bear in mind RP laws would not cover things like this, for RP laws are for IC (in-character) laws only.

MessageOK great thanks Aquinas. So if we all are happy to go along with this it would be just an informal pact between us not an official accord that is written into law?

MessageThat's exactly right - it would more of an informal understanding, not something enforced through rules.
