Message | We say "no" specially because of Article 2. Abortion is not an "cool" theme? Nobody likes abortion, nobody feels pleasure with it. It's an horrific and traumatic experience, both for the body and the mind. But our discussion is not about abortion as an concept, but as an social reality. Our law guarantees that the poorest women in our country won't be alone if said trauma has to happen in their lives. Studies show that countries with an serious policy about abortion actually have less abortion-related death registered, and also less abortions in general made than before the legislation. You know why? Because our funding is not just money dropping. We offer full psychological support, which in a lot of cases helps the women give up her original stance and decides to move on with the pregnancy. Not to mention this new bill don't mention anything about rapes. That's way more of an serious subject than we think your party recognized when you offered us this multi-proposal bill. Sorry, friends, we vote no. Rose Laureano Speaker for Health and Social Services for the People's Coutinho Party |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
