Bill: Progressive Tax Reform 4135

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fortschrittsvereinigung

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4136

Description[?]:

We believe it is simply not right that whilst our government continues to cut spending and cut taxes for the big corporations, our citizens have not had the full benefits from spending cuts which they should have been entitled to. This government raised taxes for the middle class whilst drastically decreasing them for the very richest in our society, and have sliced corporation tax whilst making only very minimal changes to the tax on luxury goods, which is basically any product not classified as essential. To combat this immoral attitude of the Conservative government, we will begin our fight-back, and we shall begin this by proposing reforming the tax system to a more acceptable standard.

FDZ! know not what they're talking about. We have proposed a different corporation tax rate than them, and have proposed numerous different tax proposals.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I recommend Progress Party waiting till the next elections. People investet their trust in our alliance and our reforms are highly appreciated by our population. We reduced the VAT recently to 14%

MessageMr Posse,

Just because you are currently leading the government, does not mean my party should keep its mouth shut and not propose an alternative to your economic policy! You state your reforms are highly appreciated by the population, have you been living in a bubble? By the time it is indeed the next elections you may come to realise you are wrong there!

MessageMr. Gunzburg,

You are the one in the bubble. We've lowered taxes, we've liberalized our economy, we've GIVEN poeple their money back. We've lowered the unemployment in three provinces. We've boosted our economy and the only thing you're trying to do is to bring back the status-quo and reverse all our reforms. We will nto accept for income tax increase. You are showing the nature of your policies with those reform proposals... I assure you, you are the one wrong here.

Aaron Posse, Staatskanzler der Dorvisch Republik.
