Description[?]:
Parti de Renevoullement de Popular is proposing a re-organization of the National People's Police. We believe the benefits of such a measure would be: an easier way for chiefs and other leading profiles in the police to recognize regional needs - as well as substantially reduced bureaucracy and administrative costs. The National People's Police headquarters has way too much tasks to do today and we believe that the focus on essential things would be significantly easier if some of the decisions were moved out to the États instead. We believe it should be up to the regional governments to fund and organize their own police departments. This would lead to decisions being made closer to the officers themselves and with better understanding for local conditions than Soulon officials. It woud likely lead to better morale and satisfaction by our police force! The National People's Police would still be responsible for Soulon security as well as border controls. It would have the authority to support investigations if the regional police forces request that. Parti de Renevoullement de Kanjor proposes to the members of the Sénate the bill, proposing the following: |

Message | We will not vote yes on this bill. The government, well the national government has the duty to fund the police force, and to protect our citizens. We will not trust local governments to achieve this. |

Message | Most local governments are ruled by the government coalition - do the party leaderships of the government parties have trust issues with the local party organizations? Considering it would be law for local governments to establish police departments, we do not understand what the issue is. We hope that we can hear some arguments as to why local governments are not competent enough for that. |

Message | We feel, that the national government is doing a good job as is, and we do not need to change something that is working. Law enforcement should come from the national level, as we can insure the citizens, officers safety and rights are upheld. |

Message | We object to that as we believe the national police leadership in our capial have too much tasks, not always being able to make decisions optimal for all our country's regional police forces. We want the national police to focus on protecting our national borders, keeping our capital safe as it is a very big city and only getting involved in local cases truly when top competence is needed. Surely, the Soulon officials already today have higher priorities than deciding La Tondelle officers should conduct traffic controls on an extra dangerous road there, do they not? A local leadership can take much more effective decisions relevant for the État in question. We do not doubt our police department is good, we agree with you on that - but the administration would be much more effective with the regionalization of the police force, keeping a national police for specific tasks. |
