| November marks 25 years since the overthrow of Fascism and the formation of the Republic. When the Senate passed the Festival of the Republic the bill included provisions for larger festivities to be held on significant anniversaries i.e. 10th, 25th, 50th etc. We are now at a significant marker and so 4139 warrants a larger Festival of the Republic. The Festival as is includes parades, street parties, fireworks and a national holiday but we would like suggestions from all parties in the Senate on how we should celebrate 4114. To get things started we recommend the issuing of postage stamps and coins feating the images such as Henri Moreau, Liberty and the Battle of Soulon above "4114-25-4139". The flashier the suggestions the better. |
