Bill: Strike Ballot Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: SLP-Libertarian Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4140

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker

We wish to make a middle ground proposal that accounts for both the need of union bosses to consult their members before striking, but at the same is reasonable in its requirements. We hope that our proposal is an agreeable compromise between union management's need to consult the workers while at the same time not jeopardizing the power that the threat of strike should have.

MessageThank you, friends of the Social-Liberal Party. This new proposal is in full conformity with our party's beliefs about what's more fair, both to the workers and the industrials.
