Bill: Peacful Political Participation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Luthorian Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4141
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, honored member of this body, Today I rise on behalf of all of those in this country who, through the thuggish so called paramilitary organizations, have been bullied, threatened, coerced, and physically harmed, to be made to vote for a certain party or it's candidates. It is high time that we, as a civilized nation relegate these fascist constructs to the ash heaps of history where they belong. There is no place in a modern and civilized nation for such things. With a full time police force, ran by the national government, a full time standing army and air force, what need is there for a political party to have a paramilitary organization? We, by law, demand that employees of the state, such as our military and police forces, to be politically independent! Why then would we allow there to exist partisan paramilitary forces? It makes no sense! It is time for us to abolish this abhorrent practice! Edison Turner Leader of the Luthorian Worker's Party |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
