Description[?]:
Dear Colleagues, The law of our Republic has many virtues, despite being a new party in our political system, I am already a lover of many points of our law. But I think we can always improve. A law that can be changed in a positive way is that of parliamentary privilege. Parliamentarians can not hold such privileges under ordinary citizens. In fact, we are all citizens as our voters, therefore, we can not enjoy benefits that our citizens do not have. For these reasons I propose this change in our law. Sincerely, Afonso Goulart - Workers´Party. |

Message | Welcome, Mr. Goulart! In times of political changes, we say goodbye to some and welcome to others. And so nice to see your party already working for our people. This law was, in fact, changed by us not too long ago. Our legislation was permissive of all parliamentary privileges, treating the political class almost as an elite exempted of the laws that we make ourselves in this House. Nice to see your party decided to move on to more assertive ways to ensure the citizens we're all equals here in Beluzia. This is a democratic country that is based on equality. We believe this concept has to be endorsed not only in the social aspect, but on the political side as well. Like our great President said not long ago, "we think it's safe to say that all parties have complete confidence in their members to allow this bill to pass, trusting that this would be a mere formality. But one that shows the people that this society is not based on any kind of privileges, not even parliamentary ones". Bernie Wolf Leader of the Freedom Socialist Party |
