Bill: The government's policy concerning adoption.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Workers´ Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4140

Description[?]:

Dear colleagues,

I do not believe that local governments can decide on adoption policies. Adoption is a very important arm of civil rights and rightly so it must be regulated by the government under strict criteria so that only persons prepared for such an important act can do so.

Sincerely,

Afonso Goulart - Workers´ Party

MessageEven though we agree with the feeling that this could be an better law, us of the FSP don't belive reinforcing an more sctricted program would be benefficial to our orphan children. This proceeding would make adoption harder, which is good in a "quality control" way of seeing things, but at the same time would make the lives of those willing to adopt and give love harder. We failed to see that as the best way to deal with this matter. Maybe an more middle of the road approach?
