Voting deadline: February 4142

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

The Richardson government has stagnated. The Imperial Prime Minister believes there's such as a position as "President" in this country, and during his administration, we have seen no improvements in society. I launch this vote of no confidence in the Richardson government in exchange for a new government led by the HDU with greater representation by the Hosian Party and the National Party of Luthori in order to finally get to work for the people of this country.

I have an agenda planned and will carry it out if this new government is formed. First, we will renegotiate and update our existing trade deals, while seeking out newer trade deals with a greater number of countries. Currently, we have agreements with only 6 nations. Under my government, we'll set out to expand this number to at least 8. Second, we will establish diplomatic relations with more countries through the Luthori Treaty of Diplomatic Relations, thus establishing embassies and consulates in greater locations throughout the world. Third, we will ratify KOIL (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3525) since oil is such an important import in our country. Fourth, we will embark on tax and budget reform to create a fairer tax system for the ordinary worker while balancing business interests as well. Fifth, we will repeal outdated treaties as part of a broader effort to clean up house and to establish Luthori's rightful place in the world. Sixth, we will ratify the International Terran Bank Request for Currency Evaluation Treaty in order to cement the Luthori Pound's place in Terra and allow for easy conversion between the LPD and foreign currencies. Seventh, we will reform the military and I will personally request the incoming Minister of Defense for a review of the status of our armed forces.

As you can see, the Hosian Democratic Union has an agenda and we will work from day one to restore Luthorian pride and bring about a better future for all people from all walks of life. We are willing to work with parties both in and out of government, and I am fully committed to working with the Hosian Party and the National Party of Luthori if they are generous enough to form this government and patriotic enough to realize that we cannot delay another year under the stagnant Richardson government. Together, we can lead Luthori to a better future.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I want rise against this out laddish claim that the Prime Minster and this government has been at all stagnant in anyway. Unlike other governments we passed out party’s agenda we laid out and set forth to accomplish in this government. If anyone has been stagnate it would be his party, if he would like to recall in 3998 his party lost 49 seats in this house because of terrible polices on the people rights, his party has only one constant thing for it and that is not holding government to long. If he becomes the Prime Minster then we will see massive job loss, a central bank and a federal Terra which is a goal of his party to enter into a political union and for our nation to lose rights on how we govern this great place.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I challenge the Imperial Prime Minister to tell me one, just one, thing he has directly done himself since the last election. The an fact is, since the last election, the National Conservative Party has not introduced legislation. They have not at all introduced new programs on defense or on education or on investment. They have allowed the military to languish as it becomes less and less ready to deal with the problems occurring around the world. They have absolutely no foreign policy at all. The National Conservative Party simply wants power. They want the title but not the responsibility that comes with it. The HDU, formerly the PCP, has always led Luthori with a vision and a commitment to work together with other parties, and the National Party can attest to this, though I admit that in years past, we may have seen things differently. The fact is this: the National Conservative Party has, over the years, driven Luthori into the sand and threatened its position as a world power through gross incompetence and inaction. Their claims of financial ruin are unfounded and are a distraction from the reality that they have no plan that can compete with the agenda I have outlined. Under my government, I will immediately set out to do what I have stated, and I guarantee a dialogue with the parties involved in the cabinet. If the National Conservatives want to govern, they must show they at least have the ability to communicate. They can't even do that. I ask for swift passage of this unity coalition so we can get to work.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It is sad to see that the leader of the opposition is still attacking on baseless information. He accused me of wanting power when it is his party promising ranking positions to other parties in his quest for power. Our military is stronger than ever and ready to take on what ever is needed when needed. We passed our campaign manifesto which was what we promised the voted when they put us in government and my party isn't failing do you fail to see that my party has won seats in last election, I would even be willing to host new elections to put this debate to and end.

MessageOOC: Sorry, but could you provide evidence (other than current military laws, which are nearly similar for every nation in the game) that shows Luthori's military is "stronger than ever"?
