Bill: Preserving Religious and Cultural Identity Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4143
Description[?]:
Whilst we hope war will be averted with Aldegar, it is clear that a constant battle is now underway to undermine our culture and beliefs by foreign zealots on all fronts, who wish to impose their misguided beliefs on our great nation. However, much of the blame must lie on the shoulders of parties in this very chamber... by turning our backs on Hosianism as our religion of state in a misguided attempt to embrace secularism we have instead promoted uncertainty. We have created division that unscrupulous foreign nations can expose - and they are exploiting this division. The same is true for our nationality identity - our way of life is being diluted by an ever-growing tide of people from overseas being granted citizenship. Baltusian culture is something we should be proud of and embrace, instead we are allowing it to be eroded because of the lax laws we have in place. It is clear we should once again embrace wholeheartedly our traditions, beliefs and core values before these perfidious ideas are allowed to take a greater foothold in our country. I therefore ask members of Congress to do the right thing and pass the following bills into law. Xander Fisk, Home Secretary |
