Bill: Marriage Ammendment Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unity Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4145
Description[?]:
This bill seeks to amend the Marriage Act and policy that states marriage is recognized as a civil union between a man and woman. This is a complete violation and restriction of civil liberties of members of the Homosexual community and citizens of this country who would wish to marry the person they love but it's restricted by the state. This Marriage act must also be amended because while we disallow our own homosexual citizens from marrying whosoever they wish to, we recognize foreign homosexual unions within the state of Malivia. This bill is about equality for all, and that our citizens should be given equal treatment and rights as given to foreigners who visit the state of Malivia |
