Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthorian Workers Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4147

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

Too often, far far too often, the jobless, the unemployed, they get trapped in a never ending cycle of poverty. Far too often, those who have lost their jobs, lose things they have, like a method of transportation. Without a way to get it around, it is hard to apply for a job. To keep a job, since it is difficult to get back and forth to work. You become dependent upon other to give you a ride. By investing in public transportation, and subsidizing it for those who have lower income, we can help to alleviate that burden.
