Mr. Speaker, Too often, far far too often, the jobless, the unemployed, they get trapped in a never ending cycle of poverty. Far too often, those who have lost their jobs, lose things they have, like a method of transportation. Without a way to get it around, it is hard to apply for a job. To keep a job, since it is difficult to get back and forth to work. You become dependent upon other to give you a ride. By investing in public transportation, and subsidizing it for those who have lower income, we can help to alleviate that burden. |
