Bill: RP Bill: Presidential Power Of Veto

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Alliance Party (LAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4147

Description[?]:

Lets introduce a veto power to the president of the country
Basically Lets give the 1 month after a bill is proposed (4 Hours) to proclaim in the debate section that he will veto this bill which means he will refuse to sign it into law regardless of how many votes the bill gets...if he proclaims a veto then the bill is taken off the floor (it has to be on the debate stage) and then should the party reintroduce the bill again after a 3 month cooldown period than the bill can go into vote and be passed regardless of the Presidents Approval

MessageOOC: I see the appeal to this for RP purposes, but In application purposes, this is a massive waste of time considering 9/10 times the bill will be reproposed regardless.

MessageYes,but it would pave way for more inolvement from all parties and it would help for a more excitimg rp for instance truong to delay it enough that it reaches election. time and so on...it also gives the party that holds the president a little bit more power and importance also if you have any other ideas to include along with this one go ahead

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.

Random quote: "To the youth of America, I say, beware of being trivialized by the commercial culture that tempts you daily. I hear you saying often that you're not turned on by politics. The lessons of history are clear and portentous. If you do not turn onto politics, politics will turn on you." - Ralph Nader
