Message | I am all for the scientific benefits of space exploration, but how much do you estimate this will cost the government, Mr Herbert? Cynthia Selby Minority Speaker of the House |

Message | It's Mrs Alex Taylor now, actually and through BDGP investigating, we have estimated that a 'Baltusian Space Agency' would require at the bare minimum 300,000,000 BLD in order to begin research and kick-start the whole program. And I am sure, that with continued adequate funding, Baltusia will be set to one day become one of the leading nations in technology and space - BDGP Chairwoman Alex Taylor |

Message | Sorry, Mrs Taylor I must need spectacles! 300,000,000 dollars? Ok, I could buy that but if you allowed private companies to form partnerships you could probably attract the same amount again and really kick start the project. Would you consider a slightly amended policy or is there a reason for fully state owned? Cynthia Selby. |

Message | My party believes that a state owned space agency is the best way to ensure the right funding is provided for the programme. And to add to that, only the Government would be able to fully know what the interests of Baltusia are, and they'd be able to change the priorities to suit the needs of the country in a government run system. Plus, if we want this space agency to represent Baltusia on the world stage, we need those in control looking out for our country's interests. Giving private companies influence over decision making in this area would be detrimental to that ultimate goal, as I fear they would be more concerned about individual profit than national advancement - BDGP Chairwoman Alex Taylor |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
