With the passage of this bill, all previous bills relating to relations with Baltusia shall cease to be effective- specifically Demands to Be Levied Against the Government of Baltusia (4144), Clarifying Aldegar's Position (4144) and Withdrawal of Recognition of Baltusia (4144). • no citizens from the named nations shall be permitted to enter Aldegar; citizens already residing in Aldegar shall be given the choice to either revoke their citizenship or be sent back to their country of origin
• Aldegarian citizens shall not be permitted to travel to either of the named nations; citizens breaching this ban shall have their citizenship revoked

These sanctions shall automatically if all of the following conditions are met;

MessageWe welcome comment on this bill. We also would like to apologise to the National Democratic Union for proposing a bill which in some sense supersedes their own.

MessageWe oppose forcing those resident here to leave- they should be permitted to stay until their Visas expire or they decide of their own will to leave, and we should make provisions to help them do so. We would be doing to them what Baltusia did to our citizens, something they now recognise as a gross error.

We have also come to oppose such a clear cut, our way or no way attitude to the issue of the Shah's titles. We have ideas on how to compromise on this with the nations involved.

MessageCitizens would only be forced to leave if they do not revoke their citizenship. If they have any desire to contribute to our society, they would surely do that. If not, they are not worthy of staying here anyway. We will not offer any compromise on the matter of the Shah. He IS the King of Baltusia. The current regime, a puppet government of Istalia, is corrupt.

MessageYou are leading us down a winding path to hell, sir.
Believe us, Baltusia is open to a compromise and we have one that they will accept.

MessageWe do not wish to see a compromise. Baltusia is wrong, why would we concede any point to them?

MessageHave you even considered the idea its wrong to force your point of view on others.
We suggest the following, and have received indications from Baltusia that they agree with this;

Baltusia and Aldegar compromise on the Shah. The Shah, within Aldegar, is free to use the title he claims. It is not to be used externally, in official documents or when the Shah goes overseas.
Baltusia acknowledges the right of its people to choose the shah to become Head of State in the future if they so wish.
Both sides agree that the status quo this establishes is to be upheld and no further claims are to be made unless either the Shah decides to cease using this title or Baltusia chooses to name him as Head of State.

We actively encourage the Government, once the Baltusian elections are over, to pursue this as policy.

MessageWe thoroughly reject this proposal. Can you explain how this benefits the people of Aldegar in any way? It simply allows Baltusia to overturn all the sanctions placed upon them without making any reparation for their crimes.

MessageThey have apologised for their policies and reversed them. They do not need to pay reparations- they did not damage our country, destroy our infrastructure.
It benefits our people as it means we no longer become an international pariah.
We have net exports of literally zero- that isn't helping our people! Aldegar is a curse word now internationally, people feel ashamed to go abroad as Aldegarians- that shame is hurting our people!

YOU will not benefit our people if you continue your obtuse, misguided, erroneous attitudes internationally. You will isolate us until we are left with no allies, no partners, a hermit Kingdom grumbling over percieved insults rather than building bridges and driving the international community forward.

Put aside your pride, your gross stupidity, your unhelpful xenophobia and haughty sense of superiority Court Minister. Instruct the Ambassador to get around the negotiating table now. If you don't rest assured that when we win the next election, we will solve this crisis in a way we and the international community see fit.

MessageHundreds of thousands of Aldegarian people (the people the ANP is here to represent!) lost their jobs, homes and way of life and you think that no damage was done. If I didn't think you were foreign spies already, I certainly do now!

It is absolutely laughable that a party who wanted to send us to war with Baltusia now decries us being an 'international pariah'. That is demonstrably untrue. Since the ANP regained power, we have improved Aldegar's position within Terra, strengthening the bonds with our most important allies: Kalistan and Zardugal. Remind me what the ANP did in their time in government? With regard to exports, that figure has been pulled from extremely deep with your backside. It is no wonder the NDU is a laughing stock nationally when they are so ashamed of their country. I tell you that I very rarely go abroad, why would I need to when I love my own country so dearly?

We have two powerful allies in the two nations I mentioned before. Kalistan and Zardugal are nations who share our values of sovereignty, democracy, rule of law and international cooperation. We have no desire to partner ourselves with heathenistic nations like Dolgarstan and Istalia.

As long as I am Court Minister, I will continue to serve the Aldegarian people. The ANP was elected on a platform of defending Aldegar against the nations across Terra who loathe our very existence. If the people change their minds and decide that Aldegar does not need to exist anymore, then perhaps we will see an NDU majority.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
