Bill: Nudity Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4150
Description[?]:
This law is badly in need of reform. While the Democratic Party promotes freedom of expression, and has sympathy with those who are nudists, the current law ignored the reality of our society. We're seeing people exposing themselves in public, the harrasment of women, children being exposed to sexual predators. This situation must stop. We must defend the right of people to make their own lifestyle choices, but we must also balance it with the right of ordinary people to go about their business unharassed. - Michael Black, Minister for Internal Affairs |

Message | We have no problem with free will, however it's insanity to extend that free will to the point that it intrudes on freedom from harassment. Under the current, it's entirely legal for a known sex offender to approach a young child and expose his genitals. Is this the kind of free will the Liberal Alliance wants to defend? And to the LUC, I urge you to put your principles and common sense before your brown nosing. I urge you to put the interests of the people who elected you above your devotion to the Liberal Alliance. I urge you to support this bill. - Michael Black, Minister for Internal Affairs |

Message | We have laws in place that block said sex offenders from harrassing children its obscene what you believe....this law doesnt allow people to harass children this bill allows people the right of self expression, and should someone have the audacity to molest another citizen or harass them we should punish the harraser and molester not the harasted and molested by telling them what to do....this is just a stepping stone to restricting people even more |
