| Today, the ZK came together in a special session. After having very constructive discussions about some complaints within partyranks about Parteichef Draschler's style of leadership, the ZK decided that time has come for less idealism. Much has been achieved and our party and elecorate is ready for implementing our agenda with a touch of pragmatism. Genosse Draschler will be honoured by the Red Worker Medal as a tribute for what he has done for the party. Unfortunately, our comrade was not able to attend due to severe health problems. After the general election there will be the Blockpartei election. The ZK elected and appointed Genosse (comrade) Heinz Lager (AGB) as the new-elect Parteichef. He has made his career in the trade union and has many years of negotiating experience. He is well kown for his capability to seek compromises. The ZK wish him all the best!
