Messagei should point out that although i proposed legislation to revert back to my original position, i did not propose legislation on any of the areas in which we agreed compromise - namely health, education and energy. These i specifically left as they were, despite not fully agreeing with the current proposals. This law of yours goes completely against that compromise because of that. Had you proposed the media ones etc. on their own, then whilst disagreeing with them i would have had no problem in your proposing them.

MessagePerhaps we should have added a caveat that we do not wish the bill to pass. We apologise for the feeling that this has gone against our compromise which we still wholeheartedly support. We just made the assessment that this bill would not pass and thus would not constitute an attack on our compromise.

Thus we wish to reaffirm our dedication to our earlier compromises and our wish to find new areas on which a compromise can be brokered. One area that we at least would be interested to discuss is the division of labor and powers between national and local governments.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson
