Kristin Lund has asked the convocation to consider the following proposal. TOTAL feel that it is an honour to be a parent in this country. As such, a test of parents to flag any early warning signs of abuse, neglect or other deficiencies that will impact on the development of this nations most precious resource - it's children - is an effort well spent in the formative years to ensure our children have the best possible start in life. |

Proposed: The government requires a test for would-be parents, if parents circumvent the test they are allowed to keep the children, but are watched for incompentence.

Message | If the ToTAL intends to offer similar legislation later, and wishes to further tighten the control... so that 'natural' births are only allowed under the same circumstances as adoptions, for example... then AMA will likely offer full support. |
