Message | We will firmly oppose this bill. European and East Asian nations with little to no alcohol regulations also have little to no problems. In the United States, historically, regulation of alcohol has led to crime, binge drinking, and abuse. Enforcing an alcohol law would not only be extremely costly, but would encourage young people to resort to binge drinking rather than normal social drinking. As President Lincoln once said, prohibition makes crimes out of things that are not crimes and strikes a blow at the very principles our government was founded upon. |

Message | In addition, many religions such as Christianity have roles for alcohol. Like all things, alcohol should be taken in moderation. This bill would strike a blow upon our culture as well as our collective liberty. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
