Details
Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2182
Description[?]:
TOTAL asks the convocation to consider the following: Heartbreak and misery follow where unfettered gambling is allowed. It tends to be pursued by those who have most to lose, not least the rent money. We ask our fellow peers to protect our countrymen from the scourge of uncontrolled gambling. While we would like to see gambling fully banned, we understand that there would be much resistance to this. We propose a severe curtailment with losses incurred by gamblers being at least manageable. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The right to gamble.
Old value:: Gambling is legal across the nation, no regulation whatsoever.
Current: Gambling is legal across the nation, no regulation whatsoever.
Proposed: Only small-scale gambling is allowed, involving limited amounts of money; casinos are illegal.
