Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthorian Workers Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4156

Description[?]:

The Imperial Prime Minister will have opening statements and then the largest party in opposition.

This bill will provide a forum for the opposition parties to address questions to the Imperial Prime Minster and/or other Ministers of State regarding government policy so that they can hold the government accountable. PMQs is a constitutional convention, and is governed by the following rules:

- The largest party in opposition may ask six questions every year. The second largest may ask three, and all other opposition parties may ask two.

- The parties in government may not ask their own questions, although they may ask questions in response to questions from the opposition.

- Questions may be asked to the Imperial Prime Minster or any other Minister.

- All questions asked by the opposition must be responded to in some way.

- If a question is addressed to the Imperial Prime Minster, the Prime Minster may either answer it personally or may delegate that responsibility to another Minister.

- If a question is addressed to a Minister, that Minister must answer it.

- The opposition member who asked the question will be given an opportunity to respond to the government's answer. However, he will not be allowed to respond with more questions if the quota has already been met.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Hinore members of the Diet, it is with great humility and yet with pride that I stand here before you as your prime minister. I assure you all that this great burden and honor are not taken lightly. It is a pleasure to stand here before you and to lead our great Marion in these tumultuous and unsure times. I hope that you will all commit to working with me and alongside me to guide Luthori into sure and temperate waters.

I have served along side many of you and come to know a great deal of you and come to consider you friends, colleagues, even confidants. I do hope that those relationships will remain in tact, as I will really heavily upon them in the coming years. I look forward to working with you all as we aspire to lead our nation forward in a direction that will be beneficial to all Luthorians. I know that, together, we can restore the Empire to its former glory.

I look forward to hearing each of your questions or your comments, I intend to be available to answer each and every one of them.

I yield,

Prescott Ramon
Imperial Prime Minister
